2018 Porsche 911 GT3
When trying to make a great sports car even better, it’s not an easy task. Apparently, there is a group of ladies and gentlemen in Stuttgart, Germany that are experts at improving greatness. When Porsche unveiled the 911 in the mid 1960’s, they had created something special with a large room for growth. Over the next 35 years, they kept enhancing and polishing this impressive package. When the ‘996” 911 was introduced in 1998, Porsche almost instantly came out with a track-focused example. This car was named the GT3, and it offered lightweight components, improved suspension, a large rear wing, and a more powerful engine. Porsche found great success with the GT3 on and off the track, and as a result, continued to offer a GT3 variant in future generations.
Fast-forward to 2017 and the stellar group of German gearheads unveil their latest version of the GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show. The facelifted 991.2 brought forward a few exciting adjustments including a redline that stretches to 9,000 rpm! The 9,000 rpm redline is backed by 500 screaming horsepower and a 7-speed PDK gearbox, launching the car to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph. In addition to the 911’s top shelf performance, the styling of the GT3 package sets the car apart from cars in its class. Out of the 2,618 991.2 GT3’s sold in Canada and the US between 2018 and 2019, only 148 were finished in Miami Blue. Putting all of these factors together into one complete package, we are left with a pretty special automobile.
This beauty was delivered to its first owner on July 29, 2018 from Porsche West Broward in Florida and delivered to its new owner in Michigan where it remained until October of 2019. The vehicle was serviced and went through Porsche's stringent Certified Pre-Owned inspection. The second and current owner purchased the vehicle as a Porsche Approved CPO vehicle with 6,835 miles. The current owner has added some tasteful additions including:
- GMG Racing exhaust
- Clear bra - ,500 (includes PPF full front, left and right side doors, new satin stripes laid over PPF, left and right uniside)
