THIS IS A VERY NICE VINTAGE SUMMER, 1966 U.S. MONO EXAMPLE OF THE BEATLES CLASSIC, " YESTERDAY AND TODAY "SECOND STATE" ' PASTE-OVER ' BUTCHER COVER ALBUM ! THIS IS A WEST COAST, USA MADE EXAMPLE!
AN ORIGINAL 1966 MONO ' PASTE-OVER ' BUTCHER COVER ISSUE OF THE BEATLES CLASSIC ' YESTERDAY AND TODAY ' LP (Capitol T-2553) ("Paste-Over" refers to the fact that the "Trunk Cover" has been adhered over the famous Butcher Cover beneath in all it's glory on the front cover!! This was originally done to conceal the "controversial" butcher photo cover!). THE COVER IS IN A VERY NICE VG+++ CONDITION OVERALL.  HARDLY ANY WEAR AT ALL ON THE FRONT OR BACK. SOME VERYLIGHT SOILING ON THE BACK. UPPER AND LOWE RIGHT CORNER TIPS HAVE WEAR. TOP HAS A SMALL 1/4" SPLIT. THE ORIGINAL YELLOW/ORANGE INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO INCLUDED IN VG+ CONDITION (2" split bottom center only.) I WILL INCLUDE A COPY OF THREE LETTERS OF RECALL FROM CAPITOL RECORDS REQUESTING THE RETURN OF THE CONTROVERSIAL LP BACK IN 1966! (They are copies of the documents, not originals.)
