    This is an original cancelled check #1201 from Shelby American Inc in Venice, California dated January 15, 1963 to Simone Olson for 1.88. SIGNED BY CARROLL SHELBY and G.T. Midgley on front side of check and Warren Olson and John Morton? on the back side of the check.  These checks are rare having been signed by Carroll himself.  They are essentially self certifying due to unique ink stamps and punched holes required for bank processing back then to ensure authenticity prior to bank payment/transfer.
