Replacement Instruction:
Loosen band clamp connecting the intake pipe to the throttle body.
Loosen band clamps on either side of the mass air flow sensor. Unplug the electrical air sensor.
Loosen the four screws that hold the factory air filter box together.
Pry plastic clip out of the stock air intake. Pull out the factory air intake tube. Remove the air box.
Assemble the new metal heat shield with the provided hardware.
Attach the 90° silicon elbow with the shorter side facing the engine. Next, install the air intake pipe to the silicon elbow. Loosely install the provided band clamps.
Attach the silicone boot to the intake pipe and connect the other side of the boot to the mass air flow sensor housing. Connect the sensor housing to the filter assembly. Once all parts are connected and lined up, tighten all band clamps to secure all joints. Plug in the air sensor harness and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
