• Condition:
The glass is free of chips, cracks and fleabites. There are no notable marks from use or storage. The glass is clear and reflective. The cuts are superbly done with minimal variance. The bowl is wonderfully clear and free of cloudiness. The stem has a strong glow under UV light.
The Deauville line was commissioned by Oneida to accompany their popular Deauville silverware line (produced under the Community Plate trademark). Two different designs were produced an Etched line which was produced by Cambridge and a cut line. The cut line is generally believed to have been produced by Morgantown, however the stem is similar to Cambridge's 3138 line, which leaves room for doubt. The cut design was primarily produced in all crystal, however green stemmed pieces can found, though rarely. It's a fantastic glass for an Elegant glass collection or to expand a Deauville setting.
